Sciatica may be a condition that originates in the back but it can lead to leg pain. The sciatic nerve is the longest and the widest nerve in the body. When suffering from sciatic leg pain, most people think that something is wrong with their leg. However, this is not the case.
Sciatic leg pain may affect any part of your legs. It can affect your calves, thighs or even the rear end of your legs. The kind of pain also varies depending upon the severity of the condition. Some people deal with a numb kind of pain. On the other hand, there are others who deal with extreme pain and may even find it difficult to stand or move.

Acupressure is another therapy that is highly beneficial for sciatic leg pain. This therapy involves applying pressure at specific points to treat pain.
